Bahamas Medical provides service support for all GE Healthcare medical equipment. Our service department is staffed by highly qualified, factory-trained Bahamian Field Service Engineers. With a locally based service team supported by the wider GE base of engineers, we are able to resolve service issues quickly & minimize downtime.

Brenton Major - BSc

Brenton is employed as a senior service engineer. He joined Bahamas Medical in July of 2003. He is a graduate of the Tampa Technical Institute & holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.

Brenton has successfully completed formal training with General
Electric Medical Systems on CT, Nuclear Medicine, Advanced X-Ray, Mammography, C-Arm, Ultrasound machines & incubators. In addition, he has undergone on the job training stints at other distributor operations in Panama & Peurto Rico to complement his formal training experience. Brenton has completed Level One Diagnostic Imaging at DITEC
in Solon, Ohio.


T’Shera M. Gaitor - BSc

T’Shera M. Gaitor - BSc

T’Shera is employed as a field service engineer & sales representative. She is a graduate of Tampa Technical Institute & holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering.

Since joining the Bahamas Medical Service Team, she has been trained on a range of GE Devices & Ultrasound equipment. She successfully completed formal service training conducted by GE Healthcare to provide service support on the full range of GEMS/IT patient monitoring, critical care & clinical information systems. She has also successfully completed formal training on CT systems at GE’s Milwaukee facility.
